History

TTI was founded in 1971 by Paul E. Andrews, Jr. The original name of the company was Textronics Incorporated, and was later changed to TTI, Inc. As a former buyer of components at General Dynamics, a military aircraft manufacturing plant, Paul Andrews believed there was a need for a passive distributor that was focused on solving customer problems.

The specialist distributor grew steadily and since 1992 TTI began operations in Europe and has become the world’s leading specialist distributor in passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components.
