Why TTI?

TTI’s value proposition stems from our basic strategy of focusing on a limited range of products and striving to be the best at what we do. No other company offers the unique combination of benefits that TTI provides.

The 80/20 Rule

TTI’s goal is to offer the industry’s best value to buyers of passive, connector, relay and switch components. These components have average selling prices well below those of semiconductors. In fact, they represent only around 5% of the total cost of components on a printed circuit board.

However 85% of the component count on a typical board is passive and connector product, so, to the buyer, they are 85% of the supply problems. To address this challenge, TTI stocks over 200.000 different passives and connectors – some 5 to 10 times more than most broadline distributors. TTI Europe is now shipping 250.000 line items per month with over 99% on-time delivery (to customer request data) and less than 0.01% shipping errors.

Product knowledgeable experts

All TTI employees participate in company-wide training programs. Over the years, our people have become the most product-knowledgeable in the industry. The TTI sales team is a valuable resource to any customer that is dealing with the complexities of passive, interconnect relay or switch parts.

Broader and deeper inventories

TTI maintains extensive inventories. We stock more than 50.000 parts with more than 75% available for immediate delivery. That’s more passive and interconnect parts than from any other source. And our product department makes sure that the parts we stock are the right parts, the ones our customers need today.

Close supplier relationships

TTI partners with only the leading manufacturers in the world. We have limited our supply base in order to establish a partnership with each manufacturer. Yet, as a group, they allow TTI to provide the best AVL coverage imaginable. And the suppliers we’ve chosen are the companies that lead the industry into new component technologies.

For our customers, this means that TTI has the ability to enlist the help of a manufacturer to solve a challenging design and resolving a problem.

Quality & Reliability

After 40 years of obsession with excellence you get the kind of performance that comes from TTI. Whenever possible, TTI has taken advantage of technology to shorten process times and prevent opportunities for errors. We are AEO, ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2015, IECQ-CECC, EN9120/9100 registered. Today, we have one global documentation system and every TTI branch and warehouse throughout the world follows the same processes. Each and every month, TTI’s senior management team (including Paul Andrews, TTI’s founder) meets to review quality measurements and take corrective action. The bottom line is that our on-time delivery and our quality levels are best-in-class. We encourage you to contact our local sales branch (Branch Locator) to find out more about our quality systems and results.

Services

There probably isn’t a service you need that we don’t provide. From component labeling to in-plant stores, TTI helps customers find, buy, receive, and use components in the most cost efficient way. Commercial and Military

TTI sells more mil-spec and e-rel capacitors, resistors, and connectors than any other distributor. TTI started as a supplier of resistors to military customers, and as recently as 1985 85% of TTI’s business came from military products. Now, commercial products generate most of our business. But, TTI still has the most complete line of military passives and interconnects anywhere.
