KEMET VW 80808 Flexible Termination System (FT-CAP) MLCCs

KEMET VW 80808 Automotive Grade Flexible Termination System (FT-CAP) Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors use flexible termination technology to prevent the transfer of board stress to the hard ceramic body, thereby preventing flex cracks, which can result in low IR or short circuit failures and provide better flex performance than conventional termination methods. The VW/Audi specification 80808 MLCCs are flex-robust devices that are AEC-Q200 and RoHS-compliant, give up to 5mm of flex-bend flexibility, and exhibit a predictable change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage due to the stability of an X7R dielectric and are designed to meet all capacitance requirements. These devices feature an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. KEMET VW 80808 FT-CAP MLCCs are used in sensors, circuits, control units, and high-current applications.
