The latching relay for switching actuators handles highest inrush currents created by lighting applications in the IoT and for building automation.
Panasonic launches with the new DJ-H a latching relay to meet the requirements of the IoT and building automation market for switching actuators. Those systems are controlled via bus structures like e.g. KNX. The relay is equipped with a manual lever regarding purposes of control for the electrical service personal. Thereby the installation can easily manually be checked without any other means.
New product DJ-H targets applications in the IoT market and complies to the regulations of IEC 60669-1 to handle highest inrush currents up to 400A by capacitive load types like fluorescent lamps.
Due to its internal structure and contact material the relay switches 50A at 277V AC (resistive load) and is certified for fluorescent lamp loads acc. to IEC 60669-1 at 200µF/20A & 250V AC.
