Vishay TNPV e3 High Voltage Thin Film Flat Chip Resistors

Industry-First High-Voltage (700V and 1000V) Thin Film Flat Chip Resistors Enable Precise Voltage Measurements while Reducing Component Counts and Saving Board Space. For High-Voltage Circuitry, Devices Combine Operating Voltages to 1000V with Low VCR < 1ppm/V, Low ± 10ppm/K TCR, and Tight ± 0.1% Tolerances. The Vishay Draloric TNPVe3 series of high-voltage thin film flat chip resistors is the industry's first to combine precision properties — low VCR < 1ppm/V, tight tolerances to ± 0.1%, and low TCR down to ± 10ppm/K — with high operating voltages to 1000V. With typical thin film chip resistors in comparable case sizes only offering voltages to 200V, TNPV e3 resistors reduce component counts to save board space and lower costs in precisionhigh-voltage circuits by replacing larger resistors and multiple devices in similar case sizes. High-voltage thick film resistors can also be replaced, which allows for significantly enhanced performance due to superior voltagecoefficient and unrivaled precision properties at high voltages.Available in 1206 and 1210 case sizes, Vishay’s TNPV e3 series covers a resistance range from 121kΩ to 3.01MΩ, operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C, and offers rated dissipation to 0.33W at an ambient temperature of 70°C. The resistors are extremely stable and reliable in various environmental conditions, as confirmed by their excellent load-life stability, superior moisture resistivity, and sulfur resistivity. The resistors are ideal for use in industrial and automotive high-voltage applications, including power andfrequency inverters for photovoltaics, wind energy, and electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs); battery management systems for EVs and HEVs; lighting; and test and measurement equipment.
