TE Connectivity HCH Aluminum Housed Braking Resistors
TE Connectivity HCH Series Aluminum Housed Braking Resistors are designed to handle high-power overloads. These resistors are available in power ratings from 200W to 500W and feature an IP54 rating for ingress protection with a maximum working voltage of 1100V. The HCH resistors have a dielectric strength of 3500VAC and an insulation resistance greater than 100MΩ at 1000VDC. The resistors are wire-wound with a Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) of ±200 ppm/°C. These braking resistors come with 300mm PTFE-insulated flying leads and are housed in an anodized extruded aluminum profile. Typical applications include energy braking, power supplies, frequency converters, automation control, and robotics.
