Frequently Asked Questions

Applying for a job

We regularly update all of our job offers. If you discover exciting job postings on our job portal, then you can apply for them also.

In the first stage of our process we will check your documents and the general suitability of your profile for our specific needs. Suitable candidates are first invited to a telephone or personal meeting with the department. Depending on the particular position, another meeting may then follow for you to get to know the job and the team in person in the respective department on site. Our generally twostage application process is kept as lean as possible so that applicants can expect feedback regarding the next steps within a few days.

Open the job vacancy that interests you and that is in question. Under the job advertisement, you will find the “Apply Online Now” button.  You can then register your data via the “Create a New Applicant Profile” section. To confirm your successful registration, you will receive an automatically generated email from the system to the email address you provided.

For your application, please use our short online form, which you can find via the link under each job advertisement in our portal. In order for us to be able to fully examine possible applications, we ask you to send us your CV. A short motivational text in which you list what you are looking for and what your expectations of us as an employer would be will also help us a lot. Please note that we are best able to record and process your file attachments in PDF form. Among other things, we ask you to include your salary expectations in your application form – this serves as a rough guideline for our orientation, but will of course be finalized in the course of interviews, taking into account your professional experience and professional qualifications, as well as your start date.

You are only 5 minutes away from the job of your dreams! Just fill in a few fields, upload your CV and a short letter – done!

It is preferable for you to upload your attachments as a PDF document.  You can also use the following file formats: doc-, xls-, ppt-, rtf-, txt-, odt-, jpg-, gif-, png- or bmp- files up to a maximum of 10MB.

If you have successfully submitted your application via our online portal, then you will receive a confirmation of receipt directly by email. This confirmation of receipt is automatically generated by our system and sent directly to the candidate’s email address. If you have not received a confirmation of receipt, please check the provided email address again or your email account’s spam filter.

You have forgotten your login details? No problem! You can request new access details via the “Forgotten Password” dialog in our system.

You can always access your application profile with your personal login details. When viewing your profile, the menu on the bottom bar allows you to view your previous documents, delete them and/or upload new documents to your application.

You have the option to delete your personal data at any time. The appropriate option can be found in your online applicant portal (“delete personal details/profile”). In the text box on your screen, you will be asked again to confirm the deletion. After your confirmation, your data will no longer be available and the system will bring you back to our job portal.  You are also welcome to inform us of your decision by email. Then we will delete your data.

Of course you can apply for different TTI positions at the same time. This does not affect the individual application process. A refusal on the one hand only refers to the respective specific position, but on the other hand, it does not represent an obstacle to your new or further applications.

We always look forward to initiative applications! On our “Job Openings” page, directly above the search function for currently advertised vacancies, you will find the link “Unsolicited Application” (also known as an ‘Initiative Application’). Here you can of course apply for this initiative at any time. However, please inform us of the application areas which you are interested in and the specialist areas in which you see your future. This allows us to compare your data with our vacancies and look for opportunities at TTI. Suitable applications will be forwarded to the appropriate specialist departments.

The only mandatory requirement for a successful application is your CV.

Other Questions

An application is always worthwhile – even if you have changed your career! Convince us that we can benefit from your experience, even if the electronic components field is new to you. Our business areas cover a wide range of logistics and services. This offers you challenging tasks and diverse career prospects for your individual profile.

We are increasingly able to offer part-time jobs for a considerable amount of positions. A growing trend! Usually, our part-time employees support us for 5 days per working week, while the exact amount of working hours is not uniformly defined and will be determined together with you. Job sharing and a great deal of flexibility in terms of working hours makes it possible for our employees to ideally combine work and family, or even study.

TTI is a logistics company and a distributor of electronic components, so we are primarily looking for commercial qualifications, such as sales, purchasing or transport logistics/ warehouse logistics. However, profiles from business studies or engineering disciplines can be of interest to us as well. If you have worked in the electronic components or general distribution field, then we are particularly interested in your application.

For many departments, no prior experience is necessary. You can gradually acquire basic knowledge from us through internal training. However, some positions, especially in sales and outside sales, require sound technical expertise.

You should have a good knowledge of English, as well as a good knowledge of the respective national language when working at TTI. Working at TTI gives you the opportunity to continuously improve your English languages skills in an international environment.

Data

Your data will be collected and processed purely for application purposes. In this regard, we take note of the European Union’s data protection regulation ‘EU 2016/649’ published by the European Parliament. Thus, a limitless retention of applicants’ data is not possible; the data is deleted as soon as it is known that it is no longer necessary for storage purposes.

Visit our dedicated privacy and legal notice page.

Internship (International)

TTI offers theses (diploma, bachelor/ master) in essentially all areas of the company. Of course, the area of allocation depends on the topic. The remuneration corresponds to the usual market remuneration for final theses.

The duration of a mandatory internship at a higher education institution depends on the respective guidelines (usually four to six months). Voluntary internships are possible from three months up to a maximum of six months.

Internships abroad are possible. Upon your specific request, we will check the possibility of a deployment. Please note that if you do an internship in another country, you must have at least a good knowledge of the respective national language.
