TTI, Inc. at the Paris Air Show: TTI had a stand at this internationally significant event with on-stand support from several suppliers. On day one, we had little time to make any final adjustments to our stand before the first potential new customers showed up to discuss market supply chain conditions and new developments where product / supplier selection would be critical to the future of the project.

 

The standout request was having a credible supply chain. Other concerns were extending lead times, manufacturing delays and reduced communication with the suppliers. As a specialist with a selected line card and strong supplier heritage, we at TTI can offer a strong portfolio for design support and remain competitive in a challenging market.

 

As a demonstration of our commitments to suppliers that support TTI, we are announcing the NEW DLA approval for AVX on the Mil Prf 32535 MLCC X7R BME chips. The Amphenol 38999 range extension expands the range into the right areas of market demand. Panduit is an innovative manufacturer of cable ties. TE is launching the FCC-360 relay, which offers some significant upgrades on current relays. TTe (Semelab) has launched a range of products specifically to support New Space. Smith Interconnect is launching the rugged 2mm footprint cPCI backplane connectors. And finally, Vishay launched the MCB Rotational Absolute Magnetic Kit Encoder.

The µCom series is a new range of Ethernet connectors designed to meet the requirements of the latest military industry trends: miniaturisation, very high-speed and robustness for use in harsh environments. The TVµCom-10Gb+ is the new version derived from this series, and it combines the 10 Gb/s Ethernet speed of the classic µCom-10Gb+ with the ruggedness of the 38999 Series III shell.

Panduit Contour-Ty® Cable Ties have a curved tip and the aggressive grip allows for fast and easy installation. These cable ties are made from heat stabilized material for high temperature applications up to 239°F/115°C) (indoor use), with a flammability rating of UL 94V-0 – indoor use.

Smiths Interconnect's rugged 2mm backplane connector system is a compliant PICMG Compact PCI standard solution that provides engineers with an advanced interconnect system to address the requirements of mission-critical applications within commercial aerospace, space and defense market segments.

The new FCC-360-CU4 from TE Connectivity (TE) offers significant size, weight and performance advantages over current products on the market. It is built in a 3 SPST normally open contact configuration, with 2 SPDT auxiliary switches. It is rated at 60 Amps for both 28 VDC and 115 VAC 60Hz/400HZ switching. The double make contact design reduces wear and tear on the contacts over time.

Higher volume satellite constellations in low earth orbit are driving a requirement for increasingly cost effective components. TT's New Space Electronics® offer a solution that delivers reduced screening but fully traceable proven space grade heritage.
