The Model CHP-A sulfur-resistant, AEC-Q200 compliant thick film resistor series offers triple rated power in comparison to general purpose resistors. Available in four different footprints from small 0603 (1608 metric) up to 2512 (6431 metric), the model CHP-A series boasts a wide resistance range from 10 ohms and high rated power making it ideal for superior pulse load applications. They are suitable for use within consumer electronics, industrial automation, power supplies, LED lighting applications and communication base stations. These resistors are made using a thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate and have ultra-high rated power up to 3 watts at 70 °C (2512 size).

CHV-A Series – Thick Film High Voltage Chip Resistors

The Model CHV-A Automotive Grade High Voltage Chip Resistor Series is AEC-Q200 compliant, UL 1676 listed, and UL/IEC 60950 & 60065 compatible. The series is available in five different footprints from 0603 (1608 metric) up to 2512 (6432 metric) and has been designed to operate with higher voltages ranging from 200 V for the 0603 size to 3 kV for the 2512 size. The resistors are made using a robust thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate. The model family complements the other circuit conditioning components available from Bourns such as power inductors and rectifier diodes.

The Model CMP-A series is AEC-Q200 compliant. This series is sulfur-resistant, an attribute increasing in demand for customers using thick film technology products in a challenging environment. Similar to the standard consumer grade CMP series, the Model CMP-A series offers enhanced performance compared to the CRM-A series. These resistors are made using a thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate and are suitable for use in consumer electronics, industrial automation, power supplies, LED lighting applications and communication base stations.

The Model CRxxxxA Series has a wide resistance range from 1 ohm to 20 megohms and is designed for general purpose applications. These resistors use a thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate and complement the other circuit conditioning components that Bourns offers such as power inductors and rectifier diodes.

These surface mount models help strengthen and further expand the range of surface mount chip arrays offered by Bourns. The AEC-Q200 compliant Model CATxxA-LF concave chip arrays are available in two different widths of 1 and 1.6 mm and contain two or four pieces of isolated thick film resistive elements printed onto a single ceramic substrate.
