GIGAVAC/Sensata Technologies GTM Bidirectional and SGX Contactors are hermetically sealed contactors.

GIGAVAC/Sensata Technologies GTM Bidirectional Contactors utilize glass-to-metal sealing to provide an electrically insulative hermetic seal. These contactors deliver efficient performance in breaking capacity, temperature resistance, durability, and short-circuit strength. The GTM400 and GTM500 bidirectional contactors operate within a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and offer a rated voltage of 1500Vdc. These GTM contactors have a maximum contact resistance of 0.3mΩ and an insulation resistance of 100MΩ. Typical applications include Energy Storage Systems (ESSs), heavy vehicles, high-power DC fast charging, and transportation electrification systems.

GIGAVAC/Sensata Technologies SGX Contactors are high-voltage DC contactors designed to provide reliable switching and protection in demanding power systems. These contactors feature a hermetically sealed ceramic construction with hydrogen gas filling to minimize oxidation and maintain low, stable contact resistance. The SGX contactors can handle a steady current of 150A to 400A with a maximum voltage of 1000V. Typical applications include material handling, residential ESS, and DC fast charging applications.
