Honeywell CRIR Series Carbon Dioxide Sensors

Honeywell CRIR Series Commercial Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensors are single-channel, Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensors. These sensors include the CRIR M1 and CRIR E1 variants, which feature a sensing chamber with an infrared sensor at one end and a detector fitted with an optical filter at the other end. The sensor emits radiation at wavelengths that include the absorption band of CO2, and the filter blocks wavelengths which are not sensitive to the presence of CO2, thereby increasing selectivity and sensitivity.

The sensors have a standard range of 400ppm to 2000ppm, with an extended range of 5000ppm for the CRIR E1 variant and 10000ppm for the CRIR M1 variant. These sensors feature an Automatic Baseline Correction (ABC) function that can automatically calibrate the sensor’s lowest reading over a pre-configured interval to 400ppm of CO2, enhancing long-term stability and eliminating the need for calibration. Honeywell CO2 sensors find applications in demand-controlled ventilation, HVAC, and air purification systems.
