Honeywell TARS Series IMU Sensors
Honeywell Transportation Attitude Reference System (TARS) series Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a sensor array that reports vehicle angular rate, acceleration, and attitude data. These TARS-IMUs enable autonomous vehicle characteristics and enhance efficiency and productivity. The TARS series is CAN J1939 certified with a 100mA current rating and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. These TARS-IMU can be customized using the TARS Configurator Tool (TCT) software to change selected parameters such as broadcast rate, orientation, and filter settings. The IMUs have a wide variety of applications including equipment control, linkage tracking, operator-assisted control, and vehicle stability control.
