Laird Technologies Soft SMD Contacts
Laird Performance Materials Soft SMD Contacts are foam-cored grounding solutions with a metalized polyimide film outer layer, specifically designed for circuit grounding of SMT devices. These contacts are supplied in tape-and-reel packaging for easy integration with standard surface mount technology assembly processes. The soft SMD contacts provide an excellent and efficient method for electrical grounding and shielding when soldered onto PCBs. The contacts operate within a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and are typically used in medical equipment, automotive, and cabinet applications.
