Molex EXTreme PowerEdge Connectors

Molex EXTreme PowerEdge Connectors are one-piece vertical card edge connectors that can be used with gold finger PC boards or as busbar interconnects for distribution or power supply applications. These low-profile interfaces are ideal for rugged single-piece mating in space-constrained applications. Available in power-only, signal-only, and power/signal combinations, these connectors offer design flexibility.

EXTreme PowerEdge connectors are compact, high-current interconnect solutions rated at 40A per contact, with the option to integrate signal pins for power/signal hybrid designs. The high-performance terminal contacts feature redundant interface points for optimal mating with double-sided card-edge gold fingers or busbar segments, providing 157A per inch of PC board space. They can be configured for AC and DC power, within the same housing or with multiple housings stacked end-to-end. These connectors are used in telecommunications and networking, including cellular infrastructure and DC-DC converters.
