Molex Mirror Mezz & Mirror Mezz Pro Connectors

Molex's Mirror Mezz Connectors are hermaphroditic connectors that are footprint-compatible and allow for stackable mating. They are designed to support data speeds of up to 56Gbps per differential pair, making them suitable for various applications in networking, telecommunications, and other industries. These connectors feature a stitched Ball Grid Array (BGA) design, which not only reduces lead times but also offers more cost savings compared to insert-molded BGA attachments. The connectors come with a robust shrouded housing design that encapsulates the pin field, providing protection to the pins and ensuring blind-mate guidance to prevent mismating.

Furthermore, Molex offers the Mirror Mezz 15x11 OCP Connectors, which also support stackable mating and are capable of handling data speeds up to 112Gbps per differential pair. These connectors are well-suited for telecommunications, networking, and other similar applications. The 15x11 OCP connectors have wide ground pins that serve to balance the electrical field and shield the differential pair from surrounding transmission lines.

Molex's Mirror Mezz Pro Connectors are another variant with stitched contacts, offering lower costs and increased customization options compared to insert molding. These connectors are BGA attached and boast consistent ball profiles. They find typical applications in servers, networking, storage, and infrastructure.
