Molex PowerWize High-Current Connectors
Molex PowerWize High-Current Connectors are available in 6.00mm and 8.00mm sizes and deliver up to 200A of current using Coeur socket technology. The PowerWize connectors are designed for optimal current-carrying capacity with multiple contact beams ensuring low contact resistance, minimal heat generation, and low voltage drop. These connectors feature finger touch-safe receptacles and headers designed per UL 60950 to prevent accidental contact with energized circuits. The 6.00mm size supports voltages up to 300V, while the 8.00mm size supports voltages up to 600V, with both sizes rated for 200 mating cycles. PowerWize connectors offer design flexibility with a range of wire gauges and secure attachment to busbars or printed circuit boards through screw-mount headers. Typical applications include data centers, industrial, telecommunication, and test and measurement devices.
