TE Connectivity D-2970 Dynamic Series PCB Connectors

TE Connectivity D-2970 Dynamic Series PCB Connectors are compact 5mm pitch wire-to-board PCB connectors with a time-saving push-in clamp termination. The push-in clamp and single-hand-operating center-locking lever, both toolless, reduce mating time by up to 90% compared to screw-latch systems. The center-locking lever provides tactile and audible feedback for safe mating, and the 50% lower insertion force allows easy wire release without injury. The male header designs are compatible with the same female plug, offering design flexibility. These connectors meet high safety and efficiency standards, comply with UL and IEC regulations, and are tested at UL and VDE-certified labs. Features include an audible and tactile locking latch, robust housing, shock- and vibration-resistant contacts, and an IP20 “finger safe” housing. They operate at up to 20A and 400V at a typical ambient application temperature of 55°C without further derating. The D-2970 series suits applications like industrial microcontrols, robot control units, PLC power inlets/outlets, building automation, and household appliances.
