Murata LLC LW Reversed Low ESL Automotive Chip MLCCs
Murata LLC Series LW Reversed Low ESL Automotive Chip MLCCs are ultra-thin, decoupling capacitors that can be implemented on the back of a processor package, contributing to the lower impedance of a power supply line. It also can sit close to the main processor on the motherboard due to its miniature size. In comparison to regular MLCCs, the LW reverse architecture rotates the electrodes 90° so that they are on the long side of the rectangular chip. The length-to-width ratio is reversed in this configuration, offering effective noise reduction in high-frequency applications.
The LLC MLCCs offer a capacitance value of 1µF, a voltage rating of 4VDC, and feature an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. Typically, LLC MLCCs are used in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) processors, camera sensors, radar, and lidar.
