Murata Power Solutions MGN1 Series DC/DC Converters

Murata Power Solutions MGN1 Series DC/DC Converters are designed to elevate the switching speeds of GaN-based systems and ensure gate driver signal integrity. These units are low-profile, small footprint, lightweight, and provide surface-mount solutions that are easily integrated into space-limited systems. The MGN1 series offers ultra-low isolation capacitance of 2.5pF and is available in +8V, +12V, and +6V/-3V outputs. These components prevent signal distortion by minimizing the coupling of transients across the isolation barrier. The MGN1 series maintains reliable operation in high voltage conditions by partial discharge performance. These DC/DC converters are ideal for powering ‘high side’ and ‘low side’ gate drive circuits for GaN in bridge circuits and find use in motor drives and inverters.
