Panasonic Industry's HE-V relays offer a maximum cut-off current of 20A @ 1000VDC in a compact design with only 41 x 50 x 39.4mm. Thick metal pins allow a good heat dissipation, a special contact design with a recommended polarity minimises arcing and therefore heat generation inside the relay. Additionally the coil voltage can be reduced down to 33% of nominal voltage which results in a very low coil power consumption of only 210mW. Togehther with a high contact gap, this makes the HE-V relays the perfect PCB switching solution for high DC load applications including photovoltaic power generation systems, the solar market, battery charging and discharging systems, inverters and DC load controllers.
