So if your connector needs a safe space from that, then you need TE Connectivity’s DEUTSCH DT Snap-Cap two and three position connectors. The rear snap-in wire seal cover provides improved seal performance while maintaining compatibility with existing mating connectors, enabling a seamless transition for legacy designs, and the interface plug front seal is field serviceable for easy repair. The connectors are rated for operation up to 125 degrees celsius while continuously carrying up to 13 amps using the proven DEUTSCH size 16 pins and sockets. They’re available with standard and long snap-caps, with the longer variant intended for use with heat-shrink tubing for extra protection.
