TE Connectivity AMPLIVAR Splices and Terminals

TE Connectivity AMPLIVAR Splices and Terminals provide robust and reliable solutions for terminating magnet and standard lead wires. The AMPLIVAR splices provide reliable terminations for magnet wire and eliminate cold solder points, weld burns, and wire embrittlement. These splices offer high tensile strength and vibration resistance, creating a superior electrical connection free from contaminants.

AMPLIVAR terminals are designed for terminating copper and/or aluminum magnet wire without the need for pre-stripping. The AMPLIVAR terminals feature a unique wire barrel design with serrations and burrs, providing a superior metal-to-metal compression crimp with high tensile strength. These terminals are available in a wide range of styles, including ring tongue, FASTON straight, flag, and stator receptacles, as well as tab quick-disconnect terminals. AMPLIVAR splices and terminals support a maximum operating temperature of up to 150°C and a wire range from 29AWG to 11AWG. Typical applications include motor windings, power supplies, starters and alternators, and transformers.
