TE Connectivity MAG-MATE Terminals
TE Connectivity MAG-MATE Terminals utilize Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC) technology to enable high-speed termination of copper or aluminum magnet wire without the need for stripping, soldering, or welding. The 200 series terminals feature a space-saving design with up to 30% less volume than the 300 series and are compatible with 30AWG to 21AWG copper and 26AWG to 20AWG aluminum magnet wires. The Nano MAG-MATE terminals are compact IDC terminals suitable for single or double-wire termination for 40AWG to 30AWG magnet wire. The MAG-MATE terminals with Multispring pin combine IDC technology with a press-fit Multispring pin, allowing for solderless magnet wire termination and solderless PCB connection. These terminals are UL-approved and operate at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Typical applications include automotive, HVAC equipment, industrial machinery, lighting, and small home appliances.
