Ecomate Aquarius is a waterproof connector IP68/69K ratings when mated. With a quick twist of the bayonet coupling system, Ecomate Aquarius provides positive tactile feedback to insure confident mating. This feature also reduces time and labor during installation. Power and signal contacts can be combined in a variety of inserts providing a highly flexible interconnect solution to reduce system complexity and minimize installation costs. Ecomate Aquarius is designed to withstand climate ingress and exposure to salt spray or a corrosive atmosphere while still maintaining mechanical and electrical functionality (salt spray > 500 hours).
Ecomate Aquarius contact system offers the flexibility of using a wide variety of contact styles and wire gauges (28-12AWG) within various connectors, shell sizes (8, 10, 12 and 14) and insert layouts, providing customers with a complete solution for off-roads, mining, marine, transportation, instrumentation, building automation and solar energy applications. Ecomate Aquarius is fully ROHS compliant, with all materials meeting the requirements of the European Directive 2002/95/EC. High amperage option is also available with Amphenol RADSOK® technology.
