Bourns Gigabit Ethernet Chip-LAN Transformers are compact magnetic components designed for Ethernet interfaces across 1G, 2.5G, and 5G Base-T systems. These Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) transformers support signal isolation, impedance matching, and noise suppression requirements in LAN circuits. The design of many devices in this family incorporates discrete common-mode inductors to enhance layout flexibility and improve EMI performance. Selected versions additionally support PoE+ current levels and function across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and find applications in GbE ports, access points, and smart home gateways.
