KCA series Type MF safety standard certified metal terminal type multilayer ceramic capacitors for automotive applications are certified under the IEC60384-14 Class X1/Y2 international safety standard for capacitors. The elastic action of the metal terminals reduces the stress on the ceramic element, and the design reduces the risk of cracking.This product can be used as Class Y2 capacitors, not only in AC lines that require safety standard certified capacitors, but also as Y capacitors in DC lines.
