The new generation of type 2 charging sockets from Phoenix Contact's CHARX connect familiy are the world’s first with LED status indicator, integrated temperature measurement and a modular system design. With these features, they offer intuitive user operation, enhanced safety, simplified installation and maintenance, and reduced inventory costs.
The infrastructure charging sockets are mounted in EV charging stations and EV home chargers. They enable mode 3 charging via single or three-phase charging cables with maximum charging powers of up to 22 kW. The sockets accommodate type 2 charging connectors in accordance with the IEC 62196 standard.
