HDSC is a trim-free two element chip resistor which gives maximised thick film material content. This results in optimised surge performance in a flat chip design. Available in four sizes from 0805 to 2512, HDSC withstands up to 6.5kV peak for a 1.2/50µs surge and up to 6kW for a 0.1ms pulse. It is ideal for protection and discharge applications in compact power supplies and power control circuits where a resistance tolerance of 5% is adequate.
