Vishay VSMA10 Series High Power Infrared Emitting Diodes are part of the SurfLight portfolio and include a double stack emitter chip for the highest radiant power. The 42-mil chip size enables 1.5A DC operation and supports pulsed currents of up to 5A. VSMA10 emitting diodes are available at 850nm and 940nm wavelengths. These high power diodes feature an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and a reverse voltage of 5V. Typical applications include eye tracking, CCTV, number plate recognition, and driver and occupant monitoring.
