Vishay SiC45x microBuck DC-DC Converters
The Vishay SiC45x microBuck® DC-DC Converters represent a series of non-isolated DC-DC buck regulators with built-in MOSFETs, complying with PMBus 1.3 standards. Within this series, the SiC45x units offer a range of continuous output current capacities, including 40A (SiC450), 25A (SiC451), 15A (SiC453), and 12A (SiC454). These converters allow for digitally adjustable output voltages spanning from 0.3V to 12V, sourced from an input of 4.5V to 20.0V, and can operate at switching frequencies up to 1.5MHz.
The design architecture of the SiC45x collection provides an exceptionally rapid transient response while minimizing the required output capacitance. This leads to precise regulation across a wide spectrum of load levels. Notably, these converters come with built-in internal compensation, ensuring stability with various types of output capacitors. Moreover, an energy-saving mechanism is integrated, leading to heightened efficiency during light load conditions.
