KEMET KPS L SnPb Termination X7R SMD Capacitors
KEMET Power Solutions (KPS) L Series SnPb Termination X7R SMD Commercial and High Voltage Capacitors designed with Tin/Lead termination stacked capacitors. These capacitors feature a proprietary lead-frame technology to vertically stack one or two MLCCs into a single compact SMD package. The KPS L series capacitors attached lead-frame mechanically isolate the capacitors from the printed circuit board and offer advanced mechanical and thermal stress performance. These SnPb capacitors provide lower ESR, ESL, and higher ripple current capability when compared to other dielectric solutions. The KPS L series capacitors exhibit a predictable change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage and boast a minimal change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. These capacitors operate from -55°C to +125°C temperature range. Typical applications include smoothing circuits, DC/DC converters, power supplies (input/output filters), and noise reduction.
